Hendy Coils is now able to offer an inner finning option to enhance the
performance of our 5/8 tubed heat exchange coils when used for oil or compressed air cooling applications. The internal structure serves as both a
turbulator and to increase the internal surface area in contact with the fluid, resulting in superior heat transfer compared with plain tubes.
A special Machine formed aluminium strip is held against the inside of the core tubes by expanding a smaller diameter tube within the fin pack,
giving an interference fit for positive heat transfer compared with plain tubes.
The exterior of the coils retains our normal extended surface fin options of variable fin pitch and multiple row configuration. Tubular copper manifolds
are sized and constructed to suit your application. Frame configurations can be our standard, or to your requirements using variable materials. Coatings are
available for adverse environments.
